Stone Planter

The Stone bench is an urban element with a shape and geometry capable of delimiting different exterior public spaces. Its design is inspired by the ‘Trencadís’ system, which was applied during the period of Catalan modernist architecture. The three-dimensional surfaces are used as a fragmented mosaic, where each piece has a differentiated geometry depending on its placement.

Material: Colored in mass concrete, acid etched and waterproofed.

Material:

High-quality concrete. Cement: CEM I 52.5. Aggregates: Marble and granite with selected granulometry. Water: Drinking water free from impurities. Guaranteed and CE-certified, compliant with UNE-EN 12620 and ISO 9001:2015.

Concrete finish:

Exposed aggregate finish surface with waterproofing. Anti-graffiti coating. Colors available according to color chart.

Optional paint finish with epoxy-polyurethane UV resistant (only for pieces weighing less than 1,000 kg). Available in any RAL color.

Wood:

Wooden seat version bench with FSC® certified Ipe wood with anti-tannin and monolayer oil protection.

Installation:

The installation consists of supporting it on the ground. It requires a location with an ad hoc foundation. To fix it, it has bushings at the base to be able to thread M12 bolts inserted into holes bored into the ground, filled with epoxy resin, quick-dry cement or similar. Bolts are not included if not specified in the order. Handling with long polyester slings.

Maintenance:

Maintenance is not required. The waterproof and anti-graffiti coating also prevents dirt adhering to the surface. To clean the surface and remove graffiti type paintings, use high-pressure hot water. For this purpose, concrete admits the use of any type of industrial spraying device. The color of the wood can be maintained by applying any type of current market product for this purpose. The wooden surface can be replaced if necessary.
